Every picture has a story to tell.

Amidst the engrossed and hustling schedule of Innovision 2k17 Third Eye, the official photography club of NIT Rourkela successfully grabbed the attention of the students and clicked some of the best snapshots that would be cherished forever. The club had organized an event named My BFF on 4th November at CS lawn to click pictures of a group of friends. The event scheduled to start at 9:30 am got delayed by few minutes. A total of 223 had registered for the event whereas around 350 people participated in it. All the pictures clicked during the event were shared from the official page of Third Eye on Facebook on 4th November. Individuals in the photo had to share their picture and the photo with maximum likes by 12 pm of 5th November was declared as the winner.

The event was coordinated by Gokul PM and Arpan Dalai. Both of the coordinators were helped by other team members. The entire team coordinated well for the accomplishment of this event. The club clicked around 104 group photos that were shared from the official third eye page on Facebook on 4th November. The group photo of Ashish Dimri, Shailee Rath, Sheetal Chowdhury, Akshita Singh, Nikhil Vobbilisetty and Ankita Singh got maximum likes and was declared as the winner. They were presented with their photo, framed.

Team MM caught up with the coordinators to know about their experience in organizing this event. On being asked about the difficulties they faced while regulating the event they responded as follows:

We faced a few difficulties this time. We were not timely provided with our technical requirements. At the last moment, we were asked to buy our own requirements with an assurance of refunding.

In spite of all the glitches the club was able to organize a captivating event and in pulling up the attention of the NITR junta.
