Their journey to this began after being 3rd in the East Zone competition conducted by IIT Bombay at NIT Rourkela in October 2009. Following that, they bagged the 2nd position in the National Level Competition held at IIT Bombay on 23rd January, 2010, thereby qualifying for the International Level Competition.

The team Members:

Deepankar Singh Punia, Computer Sc. Engg.,

Amit Arup Nayak, Electronics and Communication Engg.,

Rahul Sinha, Chemical Engg., and

Bikash Mohanty, Mechanical Engg.

CYBORG, a club for robotics and automation control has been a constant guide for these students as it takes regular classes for 1st year and 2nd year students and then the members are

assigned with various projects as well as prepared thoroughly for such grand techfests. The days are gone when various teams from other colleges were winning robotics events in CONFLUENCE (our techfest) as now Nitrians have started winning international events due to constant effort of CYBORG.
