Prof. Susmita Das, Electrical Engineering Department, attended the Sixth Global conference on Power Control and optimization- PCO-12, held in Las Vegas, USA from 6th to 8th of August, 2012, to present her research paper on “Complex Multi Layered Perception Model Based Receiver Design for Multi-user Detection in Wireless SDMA-OFDM System”. The conference was technically sponsored by Springer, Elsevier, Inderscience and AIP, and organized by the PCO Corporation, Malaysia. The conference proceedings will be published in the PCO CD. Selected reviewed and registered papers will be published online by AIP proceeding. Some other selected papers will be requested to submit an extended version to Elsevier, Springer, InderScience, GJTO, Taylor & Frances, PEP and others for special issue journal publication. These will be re-reviewed by the journal editorial boards.
Prospective authors from universities or other educational institutes and industry were invited to submit abstract and/or full paper by email before the deadline. More than 150 peer reviewed papers on original research and educational development in the area of electrical, communication, sustainable energy, controllers, robotics, wireless sensors, computing, nano-science, hybrid optimization techniques were presented. During the conference, Prof. Das got a scope to interact with fellow researchers and gather information about the upcoming research fields.
