Seminar on COB
The Department of Life Science, NIT Rourkela organized a one day seminar on ‘Conservation of Biodiversity’ (COB) on January 11, 2013 in association with the Youth Movement Federation of India (YMFI), an NGO actively working in the field of safety, health, environment and education. This one day seminar was inaugurated by our Director, Prof. Sunil K. Sarangi in the presence of other dignitaries at the Parija Auditorium of the institute.

The Science Of Life: Recent Projects
The Life Sciences department is a juggernaut in it’s own right, leaping from one prestigious project to another. While the department has only seven faculty members, it is noteworthy that there are 26 PhD scholars under them.
