Welcome Freshers cum Teacher’s Day!

The Department of Physics celebrated Teacher’s Day along with giving a hearty welcome to all juniors, in their own different style. With all other department too making their own arrangements for thanking teachers and Professors physics department too didn’t want to lag behind, and made the day a remarkable one for viewers to glue their eyes on to.
The celebration started with the lighting of the candles by the professors and the PhD. students. This was followed by a couple of group song by some students. Then, some inspirational speeches by the Professors inspired the students on this auspicious day. Another wonderful speech from Devi Prasad Pattanaik, 4th year student brought out the root cause for this day of celebrating.
At last, after a legit welcome to all freshers the professors left, leaving the celebrations in the hands of the seniors. It was a party the juniors will never forget.
