Mathematics Club held its Orientation Program on Tuesday, 23rd August, 2011 in B. B. Auditorium. About 150 freshers turned up for the program. The event started with an introduction to the club and a detailed report of its activities. This was followed by a fascinating round of ‘Optical Illusions’. Then, the President of the club, Auroshis Das, shared his thoughts with the new-comers. The final part of the orientation was a presentation on interesting numbers.
Soon after the orientation program, the 1st round of induction, a written test was conducted, which was attended by 112 participants. The results of the written round shall be declared in a few days. The further rounds of induction shall follow suit. MM congratulates Mathematics Club for the success!
