Every year NITR gifts the campus with a colourful 3 day long fest. NITRUTSAV 2K15 kick-started with days of planning, plotting, co-ordinating much before the actual event commenced. With attractive posters and banners screaming out loud the nearness to the fest, NU’15 final put a conclusion to people’s patience and curiosity on 6th February, 2015.
For all those of you who have ever wondered how a particular story would have ended if that one twist had not taken place or that one incident would have happened a bit earlier or a bit late, NITRUTSAV ’15 had the perfect event for them. Clarion, the Literary and Debating Club of NITR organised the 3rd edition of the popular writing event “Rescripted”. Much like the two previous editions, Rescripted 2015 was just as successful and as popular as always.
The fests at NITR are synonymous with treasure hunts, because they have been proved time and again to be huge crowd-pullers, after all who can resist the hunger for adventure and rush of adrenaline as one races to the finish line. But traditional treasure hunts with the same old riddles and little clues, having the participants running around the campus seemed to have stagnated to the students, especially engineers who are forever in search of the next novelty in technology. NITRUTSAV’ 15 brought to the participants Urban Crusade, a treasure hunt for the modern age, inculcating the latest smart phone gadgetry and tech in the traditional treasure hunting experience.
The much awaited cultural fest NITRUTSAV got off to an inspiring and magnificent start on 6th February, 2015 with the inaugural ceremony, which unfolded without any glitch except an unwelcome delay in the schedule.
NITRUTSAV '15 started off with much enigma and zeal that its conclusion had to maintain parity of standards. And what could have better than a band performance tuning the most cherished symphonies of Indian music.
