Implanting the Seeds of Progress

The students of Biotechnology and Medical engineering department have vowed to leave no stone unturned in glorifying the name of our institute by achieving success in various fields.

Recently an International Conference on Control, Instrumentation, Communication and Computational Technology-2014 (ICCICCT-2014) was conducted at Noorul Islam University, Thuckalay in the Kanyakumari District of Tamil Nadu. The conference was guided by Prof. Kunal Pal encapsulating the area of "Medical and rehabilitative device development and non linear analysis of ECG signals". It is a matter of great pride that the following students from the department of Biotechnology and medical engineering of our institute got best paper award in various technical sessions:

  • Uvanesh K for the research work entitled "Designing of an Infrared Optocoupler based Mobility Aid for the blinds".
  • Dibyajyoti Biswal for the research work entitled "Development of an ambulatory universal bio potential recording device".
  • Siddharth Nayak for the research work entitled "Effect of horror clips on the physiology of ANS and heart using ECG signal classification".

It is a success well deserved by these students. Team MM congratulates them on their academic success and wishes them all the best for their future endeavours.
