The Cyborg Club continued its trend of hosting events to mesmerise  the students and bring the best out of them. This year the club organised the event Robo Knights in the International Students Meet, 2K16. Each team had to come up with one semi-autonomous and one completely manual bot where the former had to race with that of the opponent’s who would be on the other side of the arena. These bots had to follow a white line on a black surface and in the way, they had to maneuver along a wall without touching it to reach the soccer arena. Then both the manual and semi-autonomous bot of each team entered the soccer arena to fight for their glory and emerge victorious.

A total of 6 teams, with four to five members, including a team from the Deepika English Medium High School, Rourkela, each took part in the event spanning for over two days. After a delay of more than 2 hours, the event finally started at 11:30 am on the 12th of march. To everyone’s surprise, the team from Deepika managed to amaze everyone by bagging the second runners up position.

All the participants were later on felicitated with certificates. Team MM congratulates the club for organising the event successfully and wishes them luck for all their future endeavours.
