Q: Are you satisfied with the company you are placed in or did you expect a better company?

A: I am satisfied as I got more than what I expected.

Q: Were there any challenges that you faced in the beginning of the placement season?

A: Though I was placed after a span of one entire semester had passed, I would say it was the beginning of my placement session. Filling the form just because of our PC, who insisted me to sit for this company, with no clue that I will actually get placed.

Q: Were you rejected by any other company? If yes, what could be the possible reasons?

A: This was the second company I applied for with Texas Instruments being the first one. Well, I would count TI as a virtual company I applied for. Just went randomly with not even slightest preparation.

Q: How many levels were there in the selection procedure of this company?

A: There were four rounds:

1.    MCQ based round which comprised of aptitude, Verbal, and computer science (Technical)

2.    Coding Round

3.    Interview rounds (Technical and HR)

The technical round was mainly about the various projects I have done in the past years in this institute.

Q: What preparations did you undergo to get through the written rounds?

A: Aptitude was something I loved solving, so was prepared with that in summer itself. While for the technical aspect, I revised the basics of C, C++ and data structure which we studied in our first year just a couple of days before the test.

Q: What preparations did you undergo to get through the GD rounds?

A: There were no GD rounds for this company.

Q: What preparations did you undergo to get through the Interview rounds?

A: Well I sat 2 complete days with my friends and we discussed the various aspects in which the questions can be asked. Every person was having something to contribute to my preparation.

Q: Any tips or suggestions for the juniors?

A: stay calm, confident and utilize your summer judiciously. Your hard work will always revert back to you.

Q: Can you briefly explain your overall experience of the placement season?

A: Placement session was a bag full of mixed emotions, a phase of tension, sorrow and exhilaration for both mine and my friend’s placement. The time which made me realize what friendship is all about and learn a lesson that you have devoted your time to something it never goes in vain.
