It is an unfortunate moment for this institute as we once again unite to acknowledge the gut-wrenching pathos of bidding adieu to a beloved member of the NIT-R kinship. Leeza Maharana (714CR2128) left us for her heavenly abode on the eve of 27th May, 2016. Originally hailing from Bhubaneswar, she was pursuing an internship program at Sunabeda. On that tragic day, the bike she was on met with an accident, while she was returning from Damanjodi, leading to her untimely demise. A condolence meet is being held on 30th May, 2016 at BBA to mourn for the macabre loss.

We sincerely hope that her soul may rest in peace. We pray to God to provide her family, friends and relatives the strength to cope up with this irreplaceable loss and overcome this tragic moment.
