It is an unfortunate moment for this institute as we once again unite to mourn the sudden demise of a beloved member of the NIT-R kinship. Prasenjit Das (416LS2060) left us for his heavenly abode on 22nd May, 2017. Originally hailing from Digboi, Assam he was a day scholar residing at Jagda. He suffered from pulmonary hypertension, a rare congenital case, ultimately leading to his demise. He was being treated at Kolkata. A condolence meet was held on 23rd May, 2017 at BBA to mourn for his tragic loss.

We sincerely hope that his soul may rest in peace. We pray to God to provide his family, friends and relatives the strength to cope up with this irreplaceable loss and overcome this tragic moment.
